We successfully received the APRS signal from the International Space Station.
APRS was a very strong signal on 145.825MHz.
Facilities include:
radioICOM IC-820H.
Audio interface YAESU SCU-17.
TNC direwolf.software.
There is no VHF antenna50MHz YAGI antenna.
For some reason, the audio is displayed as "Audio input level is too low", but it seems to be barely being received.
We were also able to confirm the operation of the rotator controller ST2-USB last night, so the equipment operation check is now complete.
I have already purchased the elevation rotor, so all I need to do is buy a regular rotor and I'll be ready to go.
However, I don't have any idea when I'll be able to purchase an antenna. I guess I'll have to stick with GP for the time being.
By the way, how many years has it been since I last heard the AX.25 signal?
The excitement I felt at the time came back to me.
