| On January 31, 2025, a Samway DXV500ZS linear amplifier failed. The DXV500ZS was working fine, but when I turned on the power switch, a little smoke came out and the power did not turn on after that. The fuse is not blown and the cause is unknown.  |

| When I open the lid, I see that the relay that should work when the power is turned on does not work and the R5 cement resistor is burnt bright red. I accidentally touched it and burned my finger.  |

| I thought I saw smoke, but other than burnt resistance, nothing else seemed to be burnt. Board is not burned out.  |

| I sent an email to Mr. Ohashi at Samway. They replied, "We can repair it if you send the board back to us, but we can also send you the parts." I sent 3,044 yen including shipping for 4 parts that would have been broken. The parts arrive a month early.
