Introducing the Shack and BCD to 16 Converter Interface Overview (2025/06/07)
My family calls this room the computer room or my daughter Jolyana’s study room, but it's almost entirely my shack.
There are two transceivers: YAESU FTDX3000 and FT-891 (both 100W models)
The linear amplifier is a THAMWAY DXV500ZS (maximum 600W)
ThinkPad X390 for FT8 and other digital modes and logging
ThinkPad X1 Carbon for website updates and YouTube video editing

On top of the FTDX3000 is the MFJ AMERITRON Remote Coax Switch RCS-10
This remote relay box can switch among 8 antennas
On top of the RCS-10 is a BCD to 16 converter interface
This automatically switches antennas based on the transceiver's band data
It supports switching from both the FTDX3000 and the FT-891
