I installed a V/UHF transceiver in a Mitsubishi Strada pickup truck.
I purchased the DIAMOND Antenna SuperGainer SG-M507 antenna from Shopee, a Philippine online retailer.
Mounts to the roof with a magnetic base
SG-M507 is 396 pesos (1,500 yen)
The magnetic base is 295 pesos (782 yen).
I'm happy to report that this is the original, genuine DIAMOND Antenna SuperGainer SG-M507.
I once bought a suspicious antenna from the Nagoya brand, but the SWR was over 3, so I returned it immediately.
The radio is an Alinco V/UHF transceiver DR-620H
I made it fit perfectly in the best position with my own preferences.
I didn't have a separate RJ11 6-core cable, so I ordered one from Shopee for 607 pesos (1,600 yen).
Waiting for delivery.
However, there are no amateur radio operators in Ozamiz, so there is no one to communicate with on V/UHF.
There are many uncovered areas. There are also many commercial repeaters outside the band.
They were all speaking in Visayan, so I couldn't understand what they were saying.
I removed the switch cover, which has no buttons, and modified it.
The switch cover is screwed onto the head of the DR-620H
