My wife Gigi (DW8BXU) in Japan sent me some letters via EMS. Inside was a bill for radio wave usage fees paid by the Kanto Regional Telecommunications Bureau. The payment was supposed to be made at a convenience store in Japan, but Gigi, who cannot read Japanese, had it forwarded to the Philippines.  |

The deadline for payment of spectrum usage fees for the Japanese callsign JI1FGX was June 23, 2025, so it was past due. |
