The key used to switch between full-width and half-width in Windows
It is frequently used when typing in Japanese
However, since it's a toggle switch, you have to check the current mode, which can be stressful if you make mistakes
So we will set the Non-Conversion and Conversion keys to switch IME mode
Right-click the A or あ icon at the bottom right and select Settings
Choose "Customize key and touch input"
Turn ON “Assign preferred functions to each key or key combination”
Set the Non-Conversion key to IME Off
Set the Conversion key to IME On
Now pressing Non-Conversion will input in half-width and pressing Conversion will input in full-width
The half-width/full-width toggle key at the top left can still be used as before
