The package sent by EMS from my old friend JK1SNS in Japan has arrived.
I took it to the post office on February 12th and it arrived on February 20th.
The postal situation in the Philippines is poor, and it often takes a month, and sometimes even two months.
Arrived in 8 days, the fastest I've ever had.
I won the ALINCO VHF transceiver DR-120H on Yahoo Auctions for 8,000 yen.
When I tested it, the sound from the built-in speaker was very low and distorted.
Unfortunately, this was not mentioned in the product description.
I'm thinking of using it to transmit from a repeater I'm considering building, so there's no problem.
Below is a gift from JK1SNS.
First up is YAESU's WIRES-II
In the Philippines, most transceivers are analog, so WIRES-X is not necessary and this is sufficient.
But I don't know how to use it or register it, so I'll look into it.
Kuranishi Antenna Analyzer BR-200.
Can measure from 1.8MHz to 170MHz
However, I have a NANOVNA and an MFJ259B, so I'm thinking of selling them here.
And WaveGear, which I don't really understand.
According to the manual, it seems to be a gadget to switch between a preamp and a linear amplifier, but I don't know what it's used for.
