I've been looking for a truck for pig farming and finally found one that is in good condition! This is a 10 year old KIA truck, but the engine and transmission are in good condition and the interior is clean!
It's a 2700cc diesel, but it's surprisingly quiet and easy to drive with a high eye point. Gigi priced out 300,000 pesos (600,000 yen) to 250,000 pesos (500,000 yen) and had the owner pay up to 4,000 pesos for minor repairs!
Antenna wires were passed under the rubber gasket and then through the interior I'm thinking of buying a Diamond Antenna M410R cable one of these days. Of course, they are not sold in the Philippines, so we order them directly from the head office at dealer prices.
Wiring route is being investigated and wiring is in progress to get power directly from the battery. The battery is under the cargo bed, so it's a pretty long wire.
The bottom of the radio was a glove compartment, so we decided to remove it and install the radio there.
Lotlot, as always, does a great job in this area. I had all the antenna wires and power wires neatly wired so that they are not visible. They don't have the know-how in this area, so it must have been a good learning experience for them.
Installation complete There is a little gap, but I'll use plastic to cover it later.
Whipped 1/4 of what I had on hand. It's an antenna that's about 25 years old (or is it 30?), recognizable to the casual observer. I had brought the one I had received earlier from Tama Denki in Tokyo to the Philippines with great care.
