I've been so busy with bad conditioning and chores that I've been doing very little radio work for about a week now!
I had my KIA truck inspected and parts replaced.
Bushings and related brake pads, tie rod ends, shock absorbers, air conditioning parts, oil filters 30,000 pesos (60,000 yen) for all this work.
And I hear some parts are not available. I asked Gigi to call the KIA headquarters in Korea, but was met with a lax response from an unwilling older brother. ."I need a maintenance manual, I need XX parts." ."Ask your agency in the Philippines." ."I'm calling because I can't get through to the agency in the Philippines." ."The car is 10 years old and there are no more parts."
and Gigi is cut off. ."I test drove a KIA SORENTO and I would never buy it!"
And I didn't touch anything electrical at all. This is the centralized door lock controller
The right side of the base was rotten, as if water had gotten in, and two transistors were also rotten. I polished the rusted board, replaced the two Korean transistors with 2SA1015 and 2SC1815, and revived the pattern! Then the repair was completed in one shot.
All they had in mind was replacing the controller, and they quoted me about 8,000 pesos for that alone...
The problem of the slow rise speed of the right side window remains unrepaired. We checked the voltage of the motor during descent and it is normal at 12V However, when it rises, the voltage is hovering around 8V.
I suspected the wiring in the middle, and wired it directly from the battery, but it didn't change much.
Removing and greasing the unit does not help.
I disassembled the motor and found that the contacts where the brushes hit the motor were blackened, so I cleaned them. So I assembled it and it was a little faster, but it still had a slow ascent speed.
