JI1FGX/DU9 Repair of light truck(2011/01/15)
A new truck arrived, and the light truck, which had been breaking down for years, was destined to be sold.
It had been running without brakes for a long time.
You have to pump it many times to stop... (scary)
When I take it to the local auto repair shop, they only look at the surface and don't repair it properly.
Then we decided to attempt to fix the car ourselves!
Dashboard removed and in a state of disrepair

As you may have noticed, the steering wheel has been beautifully replaced from right to left.
I bleed the air out of the brake piping many times, and once it is fixed, but after a while, the brake does not work again.
Repeating this for the past four days.

Why don't you buy the bushings and other inexpensive parts of the master brake cylinders,
."This inexpensive part will fix it.I'm proud of it," he says, "but I still can't fix it.
in drops
When the steering wheel was replaced, the dashboard was also split into three parts and the left and right sides were swapped.
Remove all tires and disassemble drum brakes to bleed air.
Also checked for oil leaks from cylinders.
It looked like it had not been disassembled for a long time and was difficult to remove.
Also, the grease in the bearings had hardened, so I cleaned them all up.

Transmission oil was also mixed with water and was sludgy, so it was changed.
The engine area is now in good condition.
But no matter how many times I fix the brakes, they soon stop working.
I was so annoyed that I first bought a master cylinder for 1,000 pesos!
If replacing this doesn't work, the next step is to replace the brake cylinders: ・・・・

Anyway, if you don't hit them all, a group of amateurs won't be able to handle them.
I had no proper tools and bought a wrench set and a ratchet wrench yesterday.
However, the wrench was of inferior quality, made in China (it was already rusted), so I ordered Gigi to replace it!
Ratchet wrench is made in Japan (RUNRUN)

I also explained to Gigi that we would need to have some tools if we were going to do our own maintenance in the future.
I decided to check the prices at the KIA service station, where they sell jacks and stands.

Now, I wonder when the car repairs will be finished: ・・・・
Until then, I'm taking a break from amateur radio for a while.

But if we can finish the repairs ourselves, we will be so attached to it that we will hate to sell it!
You can never have too many working cars.
