JI1FGX/DU9 This time the KIA truck failed.(2011/03/13)
We were the ones who spent the evening repairing the Suzuki truck, Charlie went to the market to buy some water, and when he came back, he said, "Sir, gear change is no longer possible." What a surprise, this time the KIA truck really broke down! The gear change part was broken from the root due to metal fatigue. There's no way this place was welded in the first place, and it's likely that the previous owner had the same problem.
Charlie said he would get under the car and weld it, so I removed just the cover part.
I had a welding machine for piggery construction due to pig farming, so I welded on the spot. The repair was completed in a whopping 20 minutes!
This could really make a repair shop.
However, we are not so naive! No one has any experience repairing engines! So we decided to buy a junk engine and disassemble and reassemble it ourselves!
7,000 pesos (14,000 yen) for a Daihatsu engine and transmission that I looked for when I was in Cebu last week. But Daihatsu parts are not available in Osamis, so I'm going to ask him to find me the F5A or F6A engine that Suzuki is using right now.
