| My wife took her Class C exam last December 4. Finally, the call sign came in. DW8BXU The HF frequencies that can be ONAIR are 7MHz, 14.00-14.200MHz and 21MHz. He speaks a few words of Japanese, but his understanding of the language has not improved much. He can understand only simple greetings. Also, since they are not accustomed to the sounds of SSB, they may not be able to understand English unless you speak it slowly. They will panic, especially if they get into a pile-up, so please keep them warm even if they slouch. Well, I will provide support behind the scenes.... The only YL station that can ONAIR on HF in Mindanao (OC-130) in the Philippines is DW8BXU. We look forward to your calls!  |
