| Somehow it was broken from the middle. And that's just this element. No other larger antennas were damaged, including this one. Perhaps the element resonated with the wind and broke the screw in the middle, rather than strong winds. The new pipe was reinforced by inserting a smaller pipe into the threaded penetration of the new pipe and riveting it in place.  |
