JI1FGX/DU9 TV Antenna Fabrication(2010/12/31)
We have cable TV, so we don't need an antenna, but we don't even have cable TV wiring from a few dozen meters away from our house!
That said, the Philippines'Nanchatte TV AntennaIt is too pretty to be
So here is the VHFLowBAND TV antenna designed by MMANA to compete with the Philippine TV antenna!
Osamis has only two stations, Channel 2 and Channel 5.
The antenna is divided into Low-BAND and Hi-BAND, so I made two antennas as an experiment.
Hopefully we will try to combine the two into one.

Antenna for VHF-LowBAND designed by MMANA
Incidentally, JA2DDA gave me some advice on converting to wideband.
Cut the elements.
But when I indicated 1.1 meters, they cut it at 10mm per meter and redid the whole thing.
Installation of power feeder
Drilling holes to fix elements
This is the completed wideband VHF Low-BAND antenna
There is such a difference in size between VHF-LowBAND and VHF-HiBAND
Can we successfully combine them into a single boom?
MMANA has not yet received a satisfactory answer.

I'm going to test them separately first.
I saw this one in town.Nanchatte TV AntennaI think it should perform much better than this dipole. It should perform much better than this dipole.
By the way, DU8EE said the short elements are just for decoration.
However, the cost will jump up accordingly, so poor people may not be able to afford it.

Residents of the Philippines who are not cable TV
