JI1FGX/DU9 Mindanao Diary Election, eh! Are you sure?(2010/05/09)
Tomorrow, the presidential and mayoral elections will be held. For the past two months or so, the city has been abuzz with posters and cars driving around with loud music playing on their speakers.
And yet, I've never heard of a campaign speech.
Posters are left up. They won't be cleaned up after the election.
It will stay that way until it decays and peels away.
And so the live ammunition.
Cash stapled to a piece of paper with the candidate's name on it. Gigi has been anxious since this morning. It means we can collect about 500 pesos in one day.
This may seem like an obvious thing to say, but there is a lot of cash flying around!
Our house went through the election period without any posters being put up.
Gigi commissioned a group of brothers and male relatives to paint the exterior walls
Step by Step." They are going to paint the eaves next. I wonder when that will be.
