14MHz, 3-element yagi at work
In the foreground is the 18MHz 3-element yagi. This one was intact, but was removed to unload the 14MHz.
Huge cross mount
The C-channel is open and processed to wrap around the coconut tree
Now it's time to start pulling up using pulleys!
Mr. Lotlot is the only one up there working on the antenna installation.
The work went smoothly and installation was completed by 11:00 a.m.
I immediately checked the SWR and found it to be 1.1, the same as before the breakage, which is Good!
The good thing about this antenna is that it is non-adjustable.

The cost of the repair was 345 pesos for the 3/4" pipe and 400 pesos for the 1" pipe.
450 pesos for 50 rivets, screws, etc. each.
The total is 1,195 pesos, or 2,390 Japanese yen.
It was a major repair, but it was cheap.
The three people who did this repair.
From left to right, Mr. Lotlot, who is always involved in the repair work and supervised this time
In the middle is Mr. Pepeng, a worker for the Piggly House construction. He easily carried a 20K generator.
Charlie is the manager of the pig farm. He helped me raise and lower the antenna.
