JI1FGX/DU9 Mindanao Diary 21MHz antenna repair
(2010/08/12)
Antenna repair and reinstallation before the sun rises.
I take a Lipovitan every morning.
A square pipe was cut in a U-shape and attached to the element to cover the boom.
Torn parts of the boom are cut cleanly and processed so that the element can be covered.
Drill holes.
Riveted in 4 places on the upper side and 8 places on the side.
Finished wiring to balun.
To be reinstalled from now on.
By this time the sun was already high and I was sweating profusely just looking at it
Mr. Lotlot is up there and tied up with wire.
The antenna is still in the process of installation, but the top one was 18MHz, but this time the repaired antenna is 21MHz.
