I purchased a Quansheng UV-5K from Shopee, Philippines on April 23, 2024
Purchased for 999 pesos (2,700 yen) as a contact for making antennas.
VUHF transceivers can ONAIR on frequencies that cannot be transmitted in Japan!

On April 23, 2024, I purchased a Quansheng UV-5K from the Philippine e-commerce site Shopee.
I bought it for communication purposes while building antennas,.

We immediately rewrote the firmware.
First, download and extract Radio Cable Driver.zip and Firmware IJV.zip, k5prog_win-v1.26_IJV

The top LED glows white and nothing is displayed on the LCD panel.

Press the Write Firmware button to upload the unzipped firmware Firmware IJV_v2.9.R5.bin

Only forWrite Firmware, it is necessary to put the UV-5K into programming mode.
To enter programming mode, press the PTT on the UV-5K while turning on the power.
The LED on the top will light up white, and nothing will be displayed on the LCD panel.

Then, press theWrite Firmwarebutton
