Completion of 7, 21, 14, and 18 MHz dipoles (2024/05/10)
Dipoles at 7 (21) MHz, 14 Mhz, and 18 MHz have been completed
It will be a sloping dipole from the pole tower to the garage roof
Each antenna is separated by 2 meters and 30 degrees horizontally, but the SWR is good
28MHz also has a 7MHz antenna with an FTDX3000 internal auto antenna tuner, and the SWR is down.
FT8 can be used to communicate with DX
The antennas are in close proximity to each other, which would affect the launch angle and the radiation pattern of the antennas.
But it's FT8 with this group of antennas, but it's also on the pile from Europe and the U.S., so it seems to be flying.
Photo shows a group of dipole antennas visible from a bedroom window.
Each antenna has pulleys on both ends to facilitate raising and lowering for maintenance
JQ2GYU Sakurai's idea.
Pulley installation work (drone footage)
If you have the customer climb up only once and install the pulley, you don't have to have the customer climb up every time you want to make adjustments, which speeds up the process.
