| Rotuma island, an isolated island located about 500 km north of Fiji (IOTA OC-060) On the 4th, I could see many stations calling, but I couldn't see 3D2V. Then I confirmed that I could receive 3D2V SuperFOX in Hound mode at 18MHz, but there was no response even though I called. But we have not been able to communicate with them even though they are not that far away from the island. I persisted until 3 a.m., but to no avail. On October 5, I woke up at about 6:00 a.m., after a lack of sleep, to look for 3D2V again. And communication was established on 28.075MHz FT8. On October 5, we communicated 5 times over 8 hours. And on the 6th, we communicated twice. Also confirmed by LoTW.  |
