JI1FGX/DU9 Mindanao DiaryInstallation of 18MHz 3EL for EU completed(2009/11/08)
Today we installed a newly built 18MHz 3-element yagi!
The usual Lotlot and XYL's brother, Jundley.
Lotlot has memorized all the procedures, so I just tell them what to do and they do it.
I am completely in the shape of a middle-aged man.
XYL and Gigi also came to help!
Filipino women are hard workers.
The women do all the heavy water fetching and heavy shopping!
So pulling up the antenna is light, light, light!
Gigi is lifting the antenna by himself, saying, "It's so light!
18MHz 3EL Yagi under installation, 14MHz 3EL Yagi on top with fixed beam for Europe
The 18MHz 3EL Yagi in the back is the beam for Japan and W
They are all homemade.
JA2DDA immediately communicated on 18MHz.
I got a report that when I switched antennas, 59+10 dropped to 57th.
When we used RTTY to ONAIR to the EU, we received many calls from France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, etc., which we had never heard of before!
And when I switch to "crack" with AMERITORON's RCS-10 antenna switcher, this time I get a lot of calls from JA.
The pleasure of instantly switching beam direction without turning the antenna!
Newly upgraded mast clamps
Lotlot tapped the C-channel to widen it and firmly bite the coconut tree.
Unlike the two works that were made entirely from angle bars, the weight is much lighter.
Good Idea!
This is the same feeder department as last time.
family portrait

From back right, Aylin, 25 (married), Jundley, 23 (married), Nonoy, 16.
Front right to XYL Gigi, Merrigles 18, Raisa 14, and so far 6 siblings.

Then Jian at 10, Jenny at 9, and the front is now Terryn at 4. Gigi's mother's adopted child.

We have a big family of 8 people except Aylin and Jundley + 2 dogs + helpers!

By the way.Let's take a picture. When I say "I'll be there," everyone changes their clothes and even puts on make-up for the gathering!
Everyone loves the pictures!
