JI1FGX/DU9 Mindanao Diary 3.5MHz Inverted V Antenna (2009/09/24)
We have received many requests to ONAIR on 3.5 MHz through our communication with Japan, so please do so.
3.5MHz full-size inverted-V antenna element added to balun
Three elements are connected to the inverted V: 3.5 MHz, 7.21 MHz, and 14 MHz
The SWR went down at 3.5 MHz in one shot, but 7 MHz went higher at 7.4 MHz!
In the afternoon, the men went to work, so XYL Gigi was told to "Can you climb?I asked him to go up, and he did.
A beautiful monkey climbs smoothly.
."I don't have a TV, so you'll have to buy one.I was beguiled into saying, "I'm sorry.
Down from 7.4 MHz to 7.3 MHz, but still out of adjustment
The 14 MHz element may be interfering and affecting 7 MHz
Gigi also went to her sister's house after this, so adjustments will be made later in the evening.
Worst case scenario, even if we remove the 14MHz element, we'll be OK because we have a yagi antenna.
Vacant lot in the back that is becoming full of antennas.
But I am very happy to have a place where I can hang a 20m element on one side of 3.5MHz

In the evening, after another adjustment and extension of the 7MHz element, the SWRs of 3.5MHz, 7.21MHz and 14MHz are now acceptable!
