December 24, 2002: Christmas Eve in Rothenburg, Germany [1] (December 24, 2002)
As I peeked into the fireplace with great interest, the wife actually put in the wood and lit the fire! The temperature gradually rose, and the living room and kitchen became warm enough to be comfortable in half-sleeves.
Stefanie has also lived in the U.S., and our conversations are still via computer.
Both Oliver and Tamara can't wait for Santa Claus to arrive! I've got my binoculars out and I'm constantly looking out. Santa Claus presents to Japanese children I can't come today because I'm busy handing out I was about to start crying when I did.
His mother told him that Santa wouldn't come if he didn't clean up his room, so he rushed upstairs. The radio is playing "Last Christmas" and I too am getting into the Christmas spirit!
Peter's house. They bought an 80-year-old house and renovated it themselves. The kitchen and living room were finished in such a splendid way that they did not look like they were constructed by amateurs.
