JI1FGX 7MHz mobile operation in Numan-cho, Higashi-Katsushika-gun, Chiba (2002/08/03)
JI1FGX Numan-cho, Higashikatsushika-gun, Chiba, moved on August 03, 2002
About 10 of my friends and I moved on and returned to watch the fireworks display at Teganuma!
We were able to communicate with about 130 stations from 12:00 to 16:30.
Conditions were not stable and the number of stations did not increase in spite of the time.
Today a fellow was assembling a 14,21,28 MHz 2-ele yagi and a 50 MHz yagi!
I am a dipole, so I can ONAIR in about 10 minutes, but it took me about an hour to assemble it!
This is a view of the assembled antenna mounted on the pole and in operation.
My antenna is in the back, unfortunately only a little bit in the picture.
Today's purpose was the fireworks display at Teganuma.
However, the wind was so weak that the smoke did not flow and the fireworks were almost invisible hidden in the smoke.
It's just a regular year.
