With the full cooperation of my wife, Gigi, who is Filipino, we were busy looking for a house, rice fields, and farmland, followed by the construction of a house and cultivation of farmland, until the house was completed on June 10, 2009. As of August 2009, the cultivation of the farmland is still ongoing, and with approximately 6 million yen, we have completed our living infrastructure. Of course, the house was completed with the full support of my parents.

On March 02, 2009, I also received my amateur radio license from NTC in Cagayan, Mindanao, and was allowed to use the call sign JI1FGX/DU9.

I retired a little early, but I am enjoying amateur radio every day and living a peaceful life surrounded by my many family members.
