Rotator Relay Interface
A relay interface connecting 5V-control-output controllers to AC-motor antenna rotators. Tested with Kenpro KR-400 and KR-500.
Product overview
Designed for controlling 24V AC Kenpro rotators using a controller such as SatBox or Fox Delta ST2 / ST2-USB. Four relays interface the control outputs with the rotator motor circuits.
SatBox / ST2-USB (5V control) → Relay interface → KR-400 / KR-500 (24V AC)
Available configurations
Bare PCB
For builders who wish to source and solder their own components. Assembly and wiring are required.
Assembled board
Board populated with relays and other components. The optional AS5600 supply is generally not needed when retaining the original potentiometer.
Assembled board with power supply
Includes a 5V supply for installations replacing the rotator potentiometer with an AS5600 magnetic encoder.
Compatibility
Tested with KR-400 and KR-500. For other models, verify motor voltage, pinout, control method and relay contact ratings before ordering.
